1. DEFINITIONS AND KEY TERMS
ColorAnalysis ("we", "us", or "our") provides the website, analysis tools, account features, and related services. A user is any person who accesses or uses those services.
Personal Data means information relating to an identified or identifiable person. Processing means any operation performed on that data, and cookies are small files stored on a device during website use.
2. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE
This policy explains how ColorAnalysis collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data, and describes the choices available to users worldwide.
3. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION
- Account information such as email address, name, identifiers, and sign-in activity
- Color analysis results, completion dates, feature usage, and preferences
- A portrait selected for analysis, held temporarily in the user’s browser and transmitted to the configured AI provider when the report and its visual styling boards are generated
- Limited tokenized payment details supplied by payment processors
- Device, browser, network, approximate location, and performance information
4. DATA PROCESSING AND USAGE
We process data to provide and secure accounts, deliver analysis features, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, communicate service updates, prevent fraud, and improve platform performance.
5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Personal data is protected using encrypted transmission, access controls, monitoring, backups, and documented incident-response practices. Payment processing is handled by PCI DSS-compliant providers.
The source portrait is not saved in the ColorAnalysis report database. It remains in the browser’s local storage so the user can complete checkout and render the report on that device; users can remove it by clearing site data. The finished report, recommendations, and AI-generated styling boards are stored in the account.
6. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Analytics, infrastructure, and advertising partners may process device information, anonymous identifiers, usage events, and performance data on our behalf. Their processing is governed by their own policies and our service agreements.
When a report is generated, the selected portrait and quiz answers are sent to the AI provider configured for the service to create the diagnosis and visual styling boards. That provider processes the material under its own data-processing and retention terms.
7. PINTEREST API INTEGRATION
Our internal marketing tools may use the Pinterest API to manage our business advertising activity and reporting. This integration is not used to access personal Pinterest data belonging to ColorAnalysis customers.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
- Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data
- Object to processing or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis
- Use browser, device, and advertising-platform controls to limit tracking
9. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain account, transaction, support, analytics, and security records only for their operational or legally required periods. Verified deletion requests are processed across active systems and backups according to the applicable retention schedule.
10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
When data is transferred internationally, we use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to preserve an appropriate level of protection.
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
ColorAnalysis is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. An account discovered to belong to an underage user may be closed.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as services, security practices, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required.
